What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
What we store
- Account data: your email address and hashed password.
- Site connection data: SSH host details and credentials you provide,
encrypted at rest and never displayed back.
- Backup data: your websites' files and databases, stored in isolated
offsite storage solely to provide the backup service.
- Operational logs: backup/restore history and security audit events.
What we never do
- We never sell your data or your backups' contents to anyone.
- We never open or mine the contents of your backups; they are processed
automatically for verification only.
- We never email you marketing without consent — transactional email only
(verification, resets, receipts, backup alerts) unless you opt in.
Retention & deletion
Backups are pruned per your configured retention. If your account lapses, backups are
kept for a limited grace window and then removed. Deleting your account stops all backups
immediately, and stored data is removed after the same window.
