Database credentials are
parsed from wp-config.php at run time — nothing to configure, and it keeps
working when you change hosts or passwords. Regenerable cache folders are excluded
automatically; wp-config.php itself is included, because a restore needs it.
Not just WordPress: Laravel, custom apps, legacy PHP — enter the DB credentials once and the same pipeline protects it. For custom apps we archive everything, because silently skipping an unknown folder is the one mistake a backup tool must not make.
Every stored backup is listed with its exact size and date, read from storage itself — so the list shows what can genuinely be restored, not what a log claims. Pick one, confirm, done.
Roll back just the database after a bad plugin update — far faster than re-sending the whole file tree — or restore everything after a compromise.
Archives are downloaded and verified before anything on your site is touched; a corrupt set is refused with the site unchanged. Restores are double-confirmed, run in the background with live progress, and logged permanently with who ran them.
